このライブカメラは滋賀県守山市今浜町の琵琶湖大橋有料道路の料金所から、琵琶湖大橋有料道路（国道477号、琵琶湖大橋）、琵琶湖、滋賀県大津市方面を映しています。一定間隔ごとに静止画が更新されるライブカメラです。
道路（渋滞情報）を確認するカメラとしてご活用いただけます。
琵琶湖大橋有料道路は、琵琶湖の東西を結ぶ全長約1.4km・国道477号の橋で、歩行者・自転車は無料、自動車やバイクは有料道路となっています。
1964年開通後、1994年に4車線化され、守山市側に料金所を設置。
建設費償還や維持管理のため通行料制度がとられており、2025年時点で有料期間は2047年1月21日まで延長されています。
ETC導入で割引制度もあり、平坦で景観の良い快適ルートです。
